Paul Sidoti, Taylor Swift’s longstanding lead guitarist, celebrated the arrival of his newborn son, drawing accolades from fans who lauded the singer’s apparent strategic planning of her tour around the baby’s due date.
The joyous announcement came shortly after the conclusion of Swift’s Asia leg of her Eras Tour. Sharing the news on Instagram, Sidoti posted a heartwarming snapshot revealing the infant cradled in a hospital bassinet, peacefully asleep in swaddles.
Accompanying the image was a placard detailing the newborn’s birth particulars: “Samuel Paul Sidoti. March 12, 2024. 7:30 am. 8 lbs 0 oz. 20 Inches. He is Perfect!”
Expressing his elation, Sidoti captioned the post: “This morning, we welcomed our little miracle Sammy Sidoti into the world. Our prayers were answered and mommy and baby are doing great. Big sister Scarlett is over the moon having a baby brother. All my love to @ashsidoti,” appending a prayer emoji and a red heart emoji to his heartfelt message.
Having served as Taylor Swift’s guitarist and background vocalist since December 2007, Sidoti’s years of dedication prompted fans of the “Love Story” singer to commend her for orchestrating her tour schedule in anticipation of the baby’s arrival.
“I love that she planned the tour around the due date preemptively,” remarked one admirer. Another chimed in, noting, “[The baby] waited until the Eras tour took a 2-month break!!!!”
