Vitality Group, a global health and wellbeing company specializing in behavior change, has announced an enhanced suite of resources designed to provide crucial support to parents and caregivers. This expansion comes as a result of a strategic partnership with RethinkCare, a leading global platform for behavioral and mental health services for employers, provided by RethinkFirst. The collaboration aims to address the unique challenges faced by parents and caregivers, particularly those with neurodivergent children.
Elizabeth Dunphy, COO of Vitality US, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “For many parents, balancing the everyday needs of their children and employer often leads to burnout and lowered productivity in the workplace.” She added, “To help address these stressors, our collaboration with RethinkCare adds digital content and expert parenting consultations to the Vitality platform to holistically support all working parents, caregivers, and their families.”
This initiative comes at a critical juncture, considering that approximately one in six children face one or more developmental disabilities, which can include conditions such as autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and dyslexia. Vitality members will now have access to RethinkCare’s “Parental Success” solution, which is tailored to assist caregivers in raising more resilient children, including those with developmental and learning challenges.
Harry Cain, VP of strategic partnerships at RethinkCare, underscored the significance of their program, saying, “RethinkCare is designed to give any parent the hands-on skills they need to perform their best at work by helping to manage challenges at home, including resources to help families and caregivers support their neurodivergent children.” He expressed excitement about the partnership with Vitality, highlighting their shared goal of empowering families to lead more productive and fulfilling lives.
