Gombe State University (GSU) witnessed a distressing incident as a 23-year-old final year student, Rahab Musa Sambo, from Filiya town in Shongom Local Government Area of Gombe State, stands accused of killing her newborn baby. The shocking incident unfolded when Sambo allegedly threw her infant son through a hostel window just hours after giving birth in a university toilet.

According to an anonymous source within the university, Sambo had conceived the child out of wedlock and made the horrifying decision to end the baby’s life by discarding him through the window.
