Fisher-Price Recalls Over 250,000 Stroller Toys Due to Choking Hazard

by daisy

Fisher-Price has recalled more than 250,000 of its Brunch & Go stroller toys following concerns about a choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on Thursday.

The toy, designed as a miniature mobile for strollers, features a stuffed avocado toast with a smiley face, along with fabric bacon, a mirrored tomato, and a plastic sunny-side up egg. The egg yolk, however, may crack, creating small parts that could pose a choking risk to young children.

Approximately 253,000 units have been recalled, including 4,500 sold in Canada. The toys were sold online through Amazon and in major retailers such as Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Marshalls, Nordstrom, Ross, TJMaxx, and Walmart from February 2022 through March 2025 for $13.

While no injuries have been reported, Fisher-Price has received five reports of the egg yolk breaking, with two cases where a child had a small piece of the yolk in their mouth, according to the CPSC.

Consumers who purchased the toy are advised to stop using it immediately, keep it away from children, and contact Fisher-Price for a replacement. Affected customers will be instructed to mark the egg component of the toy with the word “Recall” and a unique identifier, then upload a photo of the marked toy to Fisher-Price’s recall website. After receiving a confirmation email, customers should dispose of the recalled product.

In addition to the Brunch & Go recall, Fisher-Price and the CPSC also issued a separate recall for the tissue box component in the SnugaPuppy Activity Center, affecting 15,300 units. This recall was prompted by one report of a small part coming loose, which a child attempted to place in their mouth.

The SnugaPuppy Activity Center was sold from November 2022 to February 2025 at Walmart stores and online. As with the stroller toy recall, no injuries have been reported, and consumers are advised to stop using the product and contact Fisher-Price for a replacement.
