A baby lounger sold by Wayfair is being recalled across Canada after failing to meet safety regulations. The recall, issued by Health Canada on Monday, highlights fall and entrapment hazards associated with the product.

The affected item, the “Style Life Eleven Baby Lounger” from Zoomie Kids, was sold in various printed fabrics, including designs featuring dinosaurs, crowns, dots, and zoo animals. The lounger includes a head pillow and can be folded into a portable handbag with a handle.

Health Canada has warned that the product does not meet regulations for cribs, cradles, and bassinets in Canada. The agency advises parents to place babies on a firm, flat surface for sleep, emphasizing that these loungers are not safe for sleep.

Consumers are urged to stop using the product immediately and contact Wayfair for disposal instructions and a full refund. The product is also recalled internationally and listed on the OECD global recall portal.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission also issued a recall, citing suffocation hazards due to the thickness of the sleeping pad.
