BELGIUM, March 12, 2025 — LaCAR MDx Technologies, a leader in automated newborn screening solutions, has acquired the assets and technology of Baebies, Inc.’s newborn screening division. This move expands LaCAR’s capabilities and accelerates its entry into the U.S. market.
Founded in 2013 in Liège, Belgium, LaCAR aims to make diagnostics faster and more accessible. The company specializes in newborn screening and pharmacogenetics, offering solutions to laboratories worldwide.
