Over 30,000 Baby Stroller Fans Recalled After Reports of Finger Injuries

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) — More than 33,000 stroller fans have been recalled after reports of several children being injured by the fan blades.

The recall affects Luv ‘n Care Nuby stroller fans with model number 25138 and lot number N8K10X. These details are printed on a white label on the back center of the fan.

The affected fans feature three speed settings, adjustable tripod legs, and a rechargeable USB port, designed for babies and toddlers. The flexible legs allow the fan to wrap around a stroller bar.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that the company received seven reports of children’s fingers coming into contact with the fan blade, leading to six laceration injuries.

The fans were sold at stores including Baby Express, Burlington Coat Factory, Target, and Unique Photo nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and us.nuby.com, from May to June 2024 for about $15.

If you own one of these fans, stop using it immediately. Contact Luv ‘n Care for instructions on returning the product and receiving a free replacement.
