Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Wilson, has shared her reaction to the announcement that her father has welcomed his 14th child. The Tesla CEO, 53, confirmed the birth of his fourth child with Shivon Zilis on social media, sparking a response from Vivian, 21, who is estranged from him.
In a TikTok video, Vivian humorously addressed the news, stitching together one of her previous videos. In the clip, she zoomed in on her eye, with the text “This is already outdated nevermind” appearing over the footage. She added in the caption, “Technically it was through Threads this time though,” referring to the platform where she learned about the news.
Vivian had earlier shared a TikTok on February 15, where she revealed that she found out about Musk’s 13th child through Reddit. “Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right?” she wrote in the video.
In a follow-up post, Vivian reflected on another occasion when she discovered she had another half-sibling via Reddit. She legally changed her name and dropped the Musk surname after coming out as transgender in 2022.
Musk’s journey to fatherhood began in 2002 when he and his first wife, Justine Wilson, had a son named Nevada Alexander, who tragically passed away at 10 weeks old. The couple later had five more children: twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19.
In 2020, Musk and his then-partner, singer Grimes, welcomed their first child, X Æ A-12. They later had two more children: daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and son Techno Mechanicus. In November 2021, Musk secretly fathered twins, Strider and Azure, with Zilis, an executive at his company Neuralink, according to court documents. The pair welcomed their daughter, Arcadia, in February 2024.
In February 2025, author Ashley St. Clair revealed that she and Musk had a child together. Zilis also confirmed the birth of their fourth child, a son named Seldon Lycurgus, though the exact timeline remains unclear.
