Actress Nia Sanchez, known for her role in The Valley, revealed that she and her husband, co-star Danny Booko, are expecting a baby girl. Sanchez shared the exciting news on Instagram on February 24, posting a video from the couple’s gender reveal party.
Sanchez, 33, expressed that while the moment was joyful, it was also bittersweet, as this will be their final child. “It’s kind of bittersweet because it’s the last one of these celebrations,” she said. The couple, who already have three children—Asher, 3, and 20-month-old twins Isabelle and Zariah—are now preparing for their fourth child.
As Sanchez popped a confetti cannon releasing pink tissue, her son Asher danced with excitement at the reveal.
In a December 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Sanchez and Booko shared that the pregnancy was a surprise. “We had a plan. This was a little bit earlier than our plan, but we figured this baby needed to come at a certain time,” Sanchez explained.
Booko, who grew up in a family of six, expressed his enthusiasm for expanding their family. “I feel so blessed. Growing up in a big family was fun, exciting, and wild. I’m best friends with my siblings,” he said.
Sanchez’s The Valley co-star Kristen Doute, who is also expecting a baby girl, commented on Sanchez’s Instagram post, writing, “Girl besties!!”
Doute, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Luke Broderick, recently opened up about her pregnancy on the Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast. She described her experience as “okay,” saying it wasn’t as challenging as some of her friends’ pregnancies. Doute, who conceived via intrauterine insemination (IUI), acknowledged she’s been feeling “moody” due to the extra hormones from the process.
The second season of The Valley is in the works, but no release date has been announced yet.
