Lee Health Reports Record Number of Newborns Delivered in January

Lee Health experienced a surge in newborn deliveries at HealthPark Medical Center and Cape Coral Hospital in January. The health system delivered a total of 771 babies across both facilities, marking a new monthly record.

HealthPark Medical Center’s Family Birth Suites saw 616 births in January. Cape Coral Hospital delivered 147 newborns.

In December 2024, HealthPark delivered 599 babies, while Cape Coral Hospital welcomed 1301. The total deliveries in 2024 throughout Lee Health were 8,302, an increase from the 7,871 deliveries in 2023.
