Woodlands Academy, a school in Nottingham for children with special educational needs, is celebrating a positive result after its recent Ofsted inspection. The inspection took place on December 3 and 4, 2024, and comes as a welcome improvement after concerns about declining standards in the past.
The Ofsted report highlighted the school’s nurturing environment, stating that students “thrive” in the caring and welcoming atmosphere. The report praised how pupils treat each other with respect, greet visitors warmly, and show enthusiasm in lessons. It also noted that students are confident learners with highly positive attitudes towards their education.
