Reality TV star Tyler Crispen, known for his appearance on Big Brother Season 20, shared two major life updates on Tuesday, January 14.
Crispen, 29, took to Instagram to announce the birth of his first child with his fiancée. The couple welcomed their daughter, named Carter Rae Crispen, on Sunday, January 12. While Crispen shared the joyful news, he did not reveal his fiancée’s identity.
In his Instagram post, Crispen wrote, “The best secret of all time,” and expressed his love for his newborn. “The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Your mama and I love you more than anything in this world.”
Crispen also revealed the surprise engagement, saying, “My fiancée (oh yeah, double surprise) wanna thank all of our close friends & fam for helping us keep this little secret and showering her and us with all the love.”
He concluded his post with excitement, saying, “I am the luckiest guy on the planet,” and jokingly added, “PS. Have you ever seen a harder launch?”
Earlier, in an August 14 interview on The Exclusive with Sharon Tharp podcast, Crispen had shared that he and his fiancée had decided to keep their relationship private, saying it helped strengthen their bond. “If anything it just strengthens the connection because it can be hard for someone that is in the public eye to be with someone that’s not,” he explained.
The Instagram post included a series of adorable photos, including one of baby Carter holding a Polaroid of her parents with the words “Mom & Dad.” The other photos showed Carter sleeping and smiling while swaddled in a floral blanket.
