SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Baby’s Bounty, Nevada’s only consistent diaper bank, will continue its important work in 2025 by hosting diaper banks throughout the state. The program, starting in January, will include both drive-through and mobile diaper banks to help families facing financial difficulties.
Families who attend the diaper banks will need to provide a photo ID and proof of parental documentation, such as a birth certificate, Medicaid card, crib card, Social Security card, or foster/adoption paperwork. Each family can receive a week’s supply of diapers and wipes for up to three children. Some diaper banks will require prior registration, which opens one week before the event.
One of the scheduled events will take place in the Reno/Sparks area. A drive-thru diaper bank will be held on Wednesday, January 29, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Baby’s Bounty Northern Nevada, located at 1410 Greg Street, #409, Sparks.
Founded in 2008, Baby’s Bounty is a non-profit organization in Nevada focused on supporting at-risk families. The organization provides education and essential resources to help ensure every baby gets a good start in life. Initially serving Southern Nevada, Baby’s Bounty launched the “Baby Bundle” program, offering items like car seats, cribs, clothing, and toiletries, along with newborn safety education.
In May 2020, Baby’s Bounty responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by starting its first diaper bank in Las Vegas. Since then, the organization has expanded to offer diaper banks across Northern and Southern Nevada, helping nearly 40,000 families. To date, Baby’s Bounty has distributed almost 5 million diapers and over 10 million wipes.
