Sophia Grace Brownlee, the internet sensation who shot to fame in 2011 with cousin Rosie McClelland on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has announced the arrival of her second child. The 21-year-old influencer gave birth to a daughter on Christmas Eve, sharing the joyful news with fans via Instagram on Sunday.

In a heartwarming post, Brownlee shared photos of herself cuddling the newborn, captioning them with the date “29 | 12 | 24.” The proud mother’s followers were quick to congratulate her on the milestone.

Brownlee first revealed her second pregnancy in April 2024 through a YouTube video, admitting she had kept the news under wraps for a while. “I’ve been hiding this for a super long time,” she said, explaining that her anxious nature led her to wait until reaching the 20-week mark before sharing the news.

A month later, Brownlee used a pink cake to announce the gender of her upcoming baby in an Instagram post, which further delighted her followers.

The new addition to the family comes nearly a year after the birth of her first child, a son named River, whom she welcomed in February 2023 via emergency C-section. Brownlee had previously opened up about her emotional journey through the birth, telling People that the experience was “surreal” and filled with tears of joy. “I got to meet my baby that I’d carried for a very, very long time, and it was just like I imagined,” she recalled.

Ellen DeGeneres, who helped launch Brownlee’s career, celebrated River’s birth with a playful reference to their viral Super Bass performance. She humorously welcomed the baby by commenting, “Welcome to the world, Nicki Minaj the 3rd!”

In an August interview, Brownlee also clarified that she is still in a relationship with River’s father, whom she began dating at the age of 16. While her partner prefers to stay out of the public eye, Brownlee assured fans that he is very much involved in their 2-year-old’s life. “He’s a bit camera-shy, and some people don’t wanna be on camera all the time,” she explained.

As she reflects on the joy of expanding her family, Brownlee expressed excitement about watching her children “grow up together” and continue to experience life’s milestones as siblings.
