Boone Health has announced the arrival of the first baby born in 2025 at Boone Hospital Center.
Kynlee was born on January 2 at 7:47 a.m. to parents Merisa and Matthew. She weighed 7 pounds, 9.9 ounces, and measured 20.25 inches long.

“Welcoming a baby is always special, but it’s especially exciting to celebrate the first baby of the new year. We wish Kynlee’s parents a wonderful year ahead and hope they enjoy plenty of time with their new baby,” said Brandy Templeton, patient care supervisor in the Department of Maternal and Child Health.
