HKTDC to Host Major Toy, Baby Products, and Stationery Fairs from January 6-9

3rd January 2025 – Hong Kong – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host three major fairs from January 6 to 9, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. These events include the 51st Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, the 16th Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, and the 23rd Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair.

The fairs, with the theme “New Play for All,” are expected to attract over 2,500 exhibitors from around the world. They will showcase a range of products, including smart toys, high-quality baby products, and innovative stationery. Last year, the events drew about 83,000 buyers from 135 countries and regions.

The fairs will be open from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM on January 6-8 and 9:30 AM to 5 PM on January 9. The events are free to attend but are open only to industry professionals aged 18 and above, with pre-registration required.

International participation remains strong, with dedicated pavilions from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, and a “World of Toys” showcase featuring European brands. The Hong Kong Brand Toy Association will also return to highlight local innovation. Additionally, the Hong Kong Toys Manufacturers’ Association and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce will present the inaugural ESG Pavilion, focusing on sustainability in the toy industry.

The exhibition will feature a “Brand Gallery” with over 340 well-known brands. New this year is a segment for “Smart Toys,” which will highlight products incorporating technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). A new section, “Adult Play,” will focus on toys designed for adult interests, while the “Green Toys” area will feature eco-friendly products.

The Asia Toy Forum will also take place, with speakers from leading market research firms discussing industry trends, global market prospects, and the therapeutic roles of toys. Discussions on toy safety regulations and sustainability will also be featured.

In addition to the Toy Fair, the Baby Products Fair will showcase a range of baby essentials, including strollers, bedding, skincare products, and maternity items. Key exhibitors include the Korean and Hong Kong Baby and Child Industry Associations, along with a new European pavilion featuring high-quality baby products. The Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair will offer the latest stationery, creative arts supplies, office products, and gifts.

The events will utilize a hybrid “Exhibition+” model, allowing exhibitors and buyers to connect both in-person and online. The “Click2Match” platform will be available until January 16, 2025, while the HKTDC Marketplace App’s “Scan2Match” feature will help attendees explore product details and continue discussions beyond the physical fair.
