CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. (CAST) has officially announced its 2024 Beautiful Baby Contest, marking the fifth consecutive year the contest will be held entirely online.
The contest is open to all babies from birth through 36 months. There is no registration fee to participate, but online pre-registration is required. The deadline for registration is Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at 9 p.m. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Parents, grandparents, and other family members or guardians can enter their baby in the contest by visiting the CAST website at www.ClearfieldArts.org. Participants must complete a registration form, grant photo permission, and upload a photo of the baby, which will be used in the online contest.
Voting will begin on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, at 8 a.m. Family, friends, and community members can vote for their favorite baby by making online donations through links provided on CAST’s Facebook page and website. Donations by check, with the baby’s name noted in the memo line, can also be mailed to CAST at P.O. Box 613, Clearfield, PA 16830, or dropped in the secure drop box outside the CAST office at 112 E. Locust St., downtown Clearfield.
The contest will close on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at 9 p.m. The baby who raises the most money will be declared the winner of the 2024 Beautiful Baby Contest.
The top three winners will receive a trophy and a gift certificate for CAST events. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at 6 p.m. through social media and email. A press release with images of the winners will also be sent to local media outlets.
All proceeds from the contest will benefit CAST, supporting its operating costs and funding capital improvements.
