Colorado Baby Named Quinn After Roadside Birth Drama

by daisy

A Colorado baby’s name was inspired by an unexpected roadside birth. Chelsea and Jeff Brinkley from Conifer had a memorable encounter with first responders when their daughter was born unexpectedly. They were headed to the hospital, but contractions escalated quickly. Unable to reach their destination, they pulled off at the Quincy Avenue exit on 470 and dialed 911.

Responding swiftly, a Morrison police officer arrived first, followed soon after by emergency crews from West Metro Fire Rescue. In the front seat of their car, Chelsea gave birth to their daughter. West Metro Engine 11 and Medic 10 arrived promptly to ensure the health and safety of mother and baby.
