WATERTOWN, Wis. (WMTV) – The Watertown Police Department is investigating injuries sustained by an infant boy at a local daycare center, according to a Facebook post on Thursday.
Authorities were called to look into the situation at 6:15 p.m. on June 5. The infant was subsequently treated at ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
Police determined that the injuries occurred while the child was at the YMCA Daycare Center in Watertown. The daycare staff has been fully cooperative with the investigation.
Charges are expected to be filed against a staff member at the daycare. The case will be referred to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office. Further details have not been released.
