Kentucky State Police have made additional arrests in connection with the case of missing 8-month-old Miya Rudd from Ohio County.
On Wednesday, authorities conducted a search at the residence of Tesla Tucker’s parents on Leitchfield Road in Owensboro, Kentucky. Despite not finding the baby, police seized electronic devices and arrested both of Miya’s grandparents.
Taletha D. Tucker, 50, was taken into custody for being a fugitive from Indiana. David Tucker, 53, was arrested on a warrant related to non-payment in Daviess County. Both individuals were transported to the Daviess County Detention Center.
Meanwhile, the three children of Tesla Tucker, who were living with their grandparents, have been relocated to another place by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
The investigation into Miya Rudd’s disappearance continues under the direction of Kentucky State Police.
