A local from Madison is extending a helping hand to families grappling with the loss of their infants.
Lindsey Henke, a Madison native, and her husband underwent the painful experience of losing their first child, Nora, who was stillborn.
In response to their own tragedy, Lindsey founded Pregnancy After Loss Support (PALS), a nonprofit organization and accompanying app. PALS is aimed at providing crucial support to parents who are navigating pregnancy after experiencing loss or infant death.
Additionally, Lindsey has recently penned a memoir titled “When Skies are Gray: A Grieving Mother’s Lullaby.” In this book, she candidly shares her journey through stillbirth and the profound grief that has shaped her life.
Lindsey took the time to sit down with us on 27 News at 4, shedding light on her personal experience and discussing the ways in which she is offering support to other grieving families.
