These buttons were available for purchase at Blick Art Materials and Staples stores nationwide, as well as online at www.dickblick.com, www.staples.com, www.quill.com, www.schoolspecialty.com, www.sprichards.com, and www.aquaphoenixsci.com from May 2022 through July 2023, with a price point of approximately $13.

Recall for Yoocaa Baby Loungers

Another recall alert issued by the CPSC concerns “Yoocaa Baby Loungers,” which have failed to meet the safety requirements established by the CPSC’s Infant Sleep Products Rule. This non-compliance has resulted in an unsafe sleeping environment for infants, posing potential suffocation, fall, and entrapment hazards.

The noted failures include the absence of a stand, non-compliance with side height and fabric-sided opening requirements, shorter-than-minimum side heights, and a sleeping pad thickness exceeding the maximum limit. Infants may also be at risk of falling out of an enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or becoming entrapped.

While no injuries have been reported, the CPSC urges consumers to immediately discontinue use of the recalled baby loungers. Contacting Yoocaa Direct will provide instructions on how to secure a full refund and safely dispose of the product. Yoocaa Direct, along with Amazon, is directly contacting known purchasers of the affected items.

These baby loungers were exclusively available for purchase online at Amazon.com between January 2021 and May 2023, with prices ranging from $30 to $55.

Recall for UncleWu Life Infant Bath Seats

Lastly, the CPSC issued a recall alert for “UncleWu Life Infant Bath Seats,” which have failed to meet federal safety regulations governing infant bath seats. These failures encompass stability and leg opening requirements and may result in the bath seats tipping over during use, posing a potential drowning hazard for infants.

Though no injuries have been reported, consumers who purchased this product online at Amazon.com between December 2020 and June 2021 for approximately $40 are urged to cease using the recalled infant bath seats. Contacting UncleWu Life will facilitate the return of the product using a pre-paid label, with consumers receiving a full refund upon the return of the infant bath seats. UncleWu Life, in conjunction with Amazon, is actively reaching out to known purchasers of these bath seats.

In each case, the CPSC is working diligently to address these product recalls, ensuring the safety and well-being of young children. For more information on these recalls, consumers can refer to the CPSC’s official website.
