A mother from New South Wales (NSW) made a chilling discovery in her child’s cot, sharing an astonishing image online that unveiled a perilous find inside her baby’s bed.
Allirra Lovelock captured the image on Monday, revealing a massive python coiled up in her baby’s cot. The Bodalla mother recounted how she had noticed the snake out of the corner of her eye and immediately shouted for her neighbors in sheer terror.
“I shouted out to the neighbors in absolute fear,” she recounted to
Lovelock expressed her relief that her baby was not inside the cot at the time, as she was home alone. She had several neighbors come to her aid to safely remove the snake, which has since been relocated to a farm.
Lovelock believed that the snake had managed to slither in through the front door of their home.
On social media, the mother’s neighbors and friends shared their own apprehensions over the image. One woman remarked, “I’d be too scared to sleep after that,” while another added, “I’m happy that neighbors heard your calls for help. We live amongst kind caring people.”
However, some individuals pointed out that the snake was “harmless.” One person commented, “Poor little fella was probably more scared than you,” and another reassured, “Aw, a sweet diamond python! Harmless babe.”
