A baby swing sold on Walmart’s website has been recalled due to concerns it may pose a suffocation risk, potentially leading to serious injury or death, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on April 17.
The electric baby swing, branded COMEONROA, has an incline greater than 10 degrees, which violates the Safe Sleep for Babies Act (SSBA). The SSBA prohibits the sale, manufacture, and distribution of inclined sleepers for infants, as well as crib bumpers, to help ensure infant safety.
Additionally, the swing does not meet mandatory warning requirements and lacks proper safety instructions for products containing button cell and coin batteries, as mandated by Reese’s Law.
The swing, priced at $80, was sold on Walmart’s website between January 2024 and February 2025. It features a blue space-themed pattern, a black base with a touchscreen panel, hanging plush toys, a pillow, seat cover, and a mosquito net with a canopy. The product’s dimensions are 25.5 inches in length, 25.5 inches in width, and 20.8 inches in height, and it includes a remote control and USB cable. The model number “S-Y608” and “Baby cradle swing” are labeled under the seat. Around 410 units are affected by the recall.
The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled swings immediately.
Consumers who purchased the swing can contact Eonroacoo for a full refund. To receive a refund, customers must email a photo of the swing cover cut in half and a photo of the swing with “Recalled” written on its base to [email protected], then dispose of the product.
