Fisher-Price is recalling 253,000 baby stroller toys in the U.S. over a choking risk, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). An additional 4,500 units sold in Canada are also being recalled.
The recall affects the “Brunch & Go” stroller toy, which includes miniature breakfast items such as avocado toast, bacon, a tomato, and an egg. Designed to hang from stroller canopies, the toys are marketed as teethers for babies.
The CPSC warned that the yolk of the toy egg could crack, creating small pieces that pose a choking hazard. To date, five incidents have been reported in which the toy egg broke, with two cases involving small pieces ending up in a baby’s mouth. However, no injuries have been reported.
The CPSC is urging customers to stop using the affected toys immediately, keep them away from children, and contact Fisher-Price for a free replacement. Customers can request a replacement by marking the word “Recall” and the model number on the egg piece, then uploading a photo on the Mattel website’s recall portal.
The affected toys, which feature the model number HGB85, were sold between February 2022 and March 2025 at major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, Kohl’s, Nordstrom, Marshalls, TJMaxx, Ross, Macy’s, and Hobby Lobby.
Once a replacement is confirmed, Fisher-Price advises customers to dispose of the toy egg piece.
