Asda has announced a recall of its George Home Baby Walker after discovering a potential choking hazard. The retailer found that a metal bar holding the mirror and balls in place could become loose, posing a safety risk to young children.
The recall applies to all wooden baby walkers with the barcode: 5063089161265.
Customers who have purchased the affected walker are urged to stop using it immediately. The product can be returned to any Asda store for a full refund, even without a receipt.
For more information, customers can contact Asda Customer Relations at 0800 952 0101. The company also reminded customers that prices and availability may differ between online and in-store locations.
The baby walker, which features a colourful wooden design and rubberised wheels, was intended as an educational toy. It includes various interactive features like a spinning dial with animal characters and shape-sorting activities to help toddlers during their early walking stages.
Asda has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
