A New Chapter for Axar Patel

The 30-year-old all-rounder married Meha in January 2023, sharing glimpses of their wedding celebrations through a video on his social media.

Axar, known for his performances with the Indian team, was recently absent from India’s squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Australia. During a press conference in Melbourne on Tuesday, India’s captain Rohit Sharma explained that Axar was on paternity leave, which is why he was not included in the team for the tournament.

“Kuldeep, obviously, is not 100% fit. He recently underwent hernia surgery. And the other options, like Axar, he had a baby, so he is not going to travel. So, Tanush was the right option for us at this point. And he has certainly shown in the domestic level what he is capable of,” Rohit said.

Recent Devotional Visit to Mahakaleshwar Temple

Earlier last month, Axar, along with fellow cricketers Ravi Bishnoi and Rishabh Chauhan, visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The trio participated in the renowned ‘Bhasma Aarti’ and offered their prayers, seeking blessings from Lord Mahakal. The players were seen in deep devotion during the ceremony, sitting together in the temple’s Nandi Hall.

As Axar embarks on this new chapter of fatherhood, fans and teammates alike are sending their congratulations to the new parents.
