Content creator Jaclyn Singletary Gibson and her husband Seth have joyfully welcomed a new addition to their growing family—a baby boy! The couple, who are already parents to three daughters, shared the exciting news exclusively with PEOPLE.
Their son, Koda Kade, arrived on Tuesday, Dec. 12, making him the youngest member of the Gibson household. His arrival marks a special milestone as the family welcomes their first boy into the fold.
A Name Full of Meaning
Gibson shared the thoughtful significance behind her son’s name. “Koda” means “friend,” and his middle name, “Kade,” means “warrior.” She expressed her delight, saying, “He is already the absolute sweetest, and we are settling into being a family of six wonderfully so far.”
The family’s three daughters—Kennedy, 5, Evan, 3, and Michal, 17 months—are thrilled to have a baby brother. Gibson revealed that her daughters are “absolutely obsessed” with Koda, adding that they “switch off holding him all day long.”

Koda’s arrival wasn’t without its surprises. During her 36th week of pregnancy, Gibson developed cholestasis, a pregnancy-related liver condition that can pose risks to both mother and baby. As a result, her labor began earlier than expected.
At just 37 weeks pregnant, Gibson gave birth at home under extraordinary circumstances. She delivered Koda in a bathtub before the midwives arrived, with her husband Seth by her side.
“I still wanted an unmedicated home birth experience, so I did everything I could to naturally induce myself,” Gibson recalled. “Things progressed faster than I ever could have imagined.”
Describing the experience as both “terrifying” and “special,” she added, “It was beyond unforgettable. I sat in our tub in complete shock and waited for the birth team to arrive. We both believe it was meant to happen that way.”

Gibson first shared the news of her pregnancy on May 10 with a heartfelt post on Instagram. Accompanied by a touching video featuring her three daughters and husband, the caption read: “This ain’t our first rodeo… Baby Gibson #4 coming January 2025!”
