SAN DIMAS, Calif. (KABC) — Emergency responders swiftly handled a medical emergency involving a baby at Raging Waters park on Tuesday.
Authorities received a call around 1:15 p.m. about a baby who was not breathing at the water park in San Dimas. Sheriff’s deputies quickly transported the baby to a nearby fire station, where paramedics were able to restore the child’s breathing.
The baby was then airlifted by helicopter to Los Angeles General Medical Center for further care. The child’s age and gender have not been disclosed.
The park issued a brief statement, saying, “At approximately 1:15 p.m., EMS and park team members responded to reports of an unresponsive minor in a park seating area. The minor was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.”
No further updates on the baby’s condition were available immediately.
